The small needle hole of 170071 (D) foot prevents the light weight fabric form ''buckling'' and causing purckering

or skipped stitches. It is also ideal for sewing very narrow seams.

This sewing foot classification : Slant shank - HINGED type.

As you saw, there have 2 types snap on - low shank and slant shank 155964 / 542167 in RENJYI,

Low shank snap on please use shank adapter : 155964 (1/2")

Slant shank sanp on please use shank adapter : 542167 (1-1/8")

The shank adapter see ↑ 

It is different between 155964/542167 and 7300 type.

We will put the fitting sewing machines as below, but if you use the shank 155964 or 542167

then they can be used on all regular low shank and slant shank sewing machines.

This foot design for SINGER slant shank sewing machines : meansures 1-1/8" for sewing feet.
